New carpet in babies room?

Is is supposed to be best practise to get a new carpet in bubs room? we rent & the Landlord wont change the carpets but just wondering if I should offer to pay for one myself?x

I haven't heard carpets have to be new. At this rate it'll be bare floorboards here lol.
Is the carpet clean enough? You could always ask landlord to lend you a carpet cleaner of get one from somewhere instead of forking out for a new carpet as I know they can be quite expensive

Our cat treated it as his own bedroom for 3 months before we got pregnant lol its just very worn, could probs do with a steam clean too to make sure? x

Lol I LOVE cats. Well its entirely up to yourself but if you can't afford a new carpet I would defo give it a steam clean.

I just gave our a good shampoo / steam clean, it was fine, especially now our cats aren't allowed in there any more
