It's that time again! I am expecting a little girl and me and my husband were thinking about names. we have so many ideas so I thought I should ask what people think about them. The names we have are: Clare, Mabel, Ida and Providence. Any thoughts?

Girls names are so hard, you've done well to come up with 4 you like. Is Ida pronounced the same ad Aida? That's my friends daughters name. She is a gorgeous little girl so I really like the name because of her. Mabel is nice too.

Yes that's how I would pronounce it. I think its so cute and simple!

I like Providence its similar to my daughters name Temperance ifykwim, im not a fan of clare because I know too many people called Claire, ida is nice I like old fashioned names my eldest daughter is called Alice xx

Thanks to you all! I didn't have time to respond lately, you know, the holidays and all that. We still don't know how she will be called, but we dropped Ida, we just didn't like the name a much as the others.
