Hello,

May I join you here ladies ?.. I am so so excited to be pregnant again and simply still can not believe it ! Being 41 and having struggled with secondary infertility for so long, being now pregnant with my 3d seems like a complete miracle. I got my BFP on FRER last week at 9-10 dpo after NTNP for almost 2 years and actively ttc since July. I am still very nervous as it is so early on, and have obviously been testing on various tests every single day lol but I hink I am going to let myself get properly excited today and officially join you here ladies. How is everyone feeling? Oh and are there any December 2018 Mummied around ? Seems like I am due 13th Dec. Anyways just wanted to say hello and wish everyone happy and heqlthy 9 months xx

Hi and welcome! There will probably be a December mummies thread soon. I'm 42...I think there are a few of us in our 40s...it's so much more common these days. Have you got any symptoms yet?

Hi Hopeful1976

Welcome to the forum. I am going to be a December mummy and am due on the 2nd December.

I know what you mean about testing a lot. I found out last weekend on our wedding anniversary and I'm still testing every few days.

Morning! I'm a December mummy! Due the 10th I think.

I created the November mummies thread but then went on to have a chemical pregnancy so I've been hesitant to start a December one.....

I can though if no one else wants to?

Hi !!! And congratulations to you too !!! I agree , there are so many 40 plus Mummies to be these days, hey we still got it going on :-).. I have zero symptoms, and I have been like this with my 2 previous pregnancies too. I feel a bit more tired than usual, like I would love to take a nap whilst usually I go straight through the day and never feel the need to. So yeah, just tiredness but that’s it really. I guess I could say I am very lucky, but for a nervous rack as I am, it’s kinda hard as i never know what’s going on inside me. I am very scared of miscarriage as I had one before my second daughter , so perhaps a bit of symptoms like at least some breast tenderness or something would feel a bit reassuaring.. anyways how are you feeling ? Do you have symptoms ? X

Hey WolfMamma ! That’s a wonderful idea ! It would be great if you started a thread hun !! Needless to say , I will be joining :-) so your due date is the 10th? My birthday is the 9th, and my due date is 13th. I just hope this baby comes on time, as my 2nd baby came exactly 12 days over due, and if it happens now, it will be a Xmas baby, hmmmmm I m not sure Xmas day would be my ideal day for giving birth.. even though I d take any day and just want a healthy baby .. sorry to hear about your chemical. It happened to me too and it is so crushing..that’s why I am so nervous these days. However , it’s important we stay positive. I found that it is straight after a chemical or a miscarriage , that I went on to have my healthy strong pregnancies which both resulted in wonderful babies, it is something about your hormones straight after that, and just plain statistics , so chin up honey, this one is going to be ok.

Hey honey ! I am glad to hear I am not the only one testing like a lunatic. I am going to have a viability scan privately when I am 7 weeks as I just can’t keep going like this, I will drive myself mad . I found that we have this place called Window to the womb, just nearby, turns out they are part of the chain and they are all over the uk, I personally never heard of them before, anyways they have really good prices for simple scans like this, and it would be such a relief to see a heart beat, gingers crossed.

Just wanted to say hello and welcome

It took us a long time to finally catch so I totally understand the anxiety at this early stage. We had an early scan with a similar chain this morning. It was lovely just to see a heartbeat and it just made it feel more real. Wasn't too expensive either. I think it will really put my mind at rest now.

I'm tempted to get an early scan. My midwife was so busy we haven't got a booking in appointment until 11th May when I'll be nearly 11 weeks, seems so long to wait.
