as you may of seen from my post the other day EmMA isn't well, i took her ot the docs in the end and she has a upper respatary viral thinggy, anyway she is ok ish when she has had calpol ect... but has still got a temp and is clinggy, atm she is asleep which will do her some good only she has a party tonight and it's her best friends party at a big play area, my son is invited too and i really want to take them however cas Emma is ill i just don't think i can so i was wondering if soemone could help i don't know what to do what would you advise me to do?

I would see how she is later but if still under the weather would keep her at home. What a shame :(

If it was anything else then I'd say keep her at home. But she will obviously be gutted to miss out and I am sure her friend will hate her not to come too. I'd echo Urchin and say play it by ear. Maybe let the Mum know the situation so she can prepare the birthday child just in case. But even if you have to leave early, it's worth showing your face and sometimes just going out can make them feel better than lounging around on the sofa.

Sometimes these things really don't last too long and she may be right as rain after a good rest. My oldest was ill all day Saturday, then in the evening she perked up, started fighting with my middle daughter and ate her dinner as normal!

well i didn't take her becasue she didn't eat her tea or anything she slept on the sofa so she clearly wasn't well, anyway today she seems fine playing happily so i'll give her a bit of calpol and take her to skool (she doesn't have a temp anymore and is happily playing with james) so i'll just take her and say to the teacher if you need me at any time give me a ring and i'll be there as soon as i can :D bless her i felt so bad not taking her to the party so we decided we will take her friend and my 2 to jump (big play area) on friday after skool :D
