I came off the pill at the beginning of August. We used condoms last month (had a little accident but nothing came of it). During this time, my husband had a bit of a wobble and expressed a lot of concern about starting a family - wasn't sure he was ready etc. I found this very hard - but I know him, and i think he will come round in time. He's hard on himself and he knew he would be thinking he wasnt going to be a good dad.

Since then, I have deliberately not mentioned it again as I wanted to give him time. A couple of nights ago we had sex without a condom (his idea). He didn't mention ttc but I could tell he'd been thinking about it...anyway in the end he pulled out. He apologised after and said again he was just not sure if he was ready.

I feel like we've come a long way in a month - and i haven't actually talked about it with, he's just given it some thought on his own.

But the thing is - Ill be ovulating in a few days. I'd like us just to go for it this month. Do I say something? Or do I just leave him alone, no mention it and hope that he'll come round soon. Meaning I will miss this month. What do you think?

When I came off the pull last time we agreed it would be to give my body a rest from it and get itself sorted & bought condoms, everytime we got close I would ask if he was using to use a condom and when I got a no I said you realise what might happen if you don't, I think most men are never really sure but if it's his decision then he can't argue iykwim.
Maybe tell your OH that you don't want to go back on the pill but if he's not sure then you'll need to use condoms. You don't want him to suddenly decide he's ready when you go back on the pill to then have to mess your body about coming back off

Maybe not mention it and see what happens x
