Its easy to research with google and I gathered a list for myself of ways to naturally encourage labour. Of course there are other things you can eat and herbs you can take, but thats not for me. Also, encouraging labour is never really recommended until after your due date. So I will ease into this regime, as I am only at 36 weeks now.
Here's my list:
Walking (some stomping )
Massage
Sex
Membrane Sweep
Going down stairs on bum (gently )
Relaxation
Labour sitting methods and positions
Keep busy when awake
Nipple stimulation
Accupressure - Some pressure points you can try are the roof of your mouth, the webbing of your fingers between your pointer finger and thumb, and above the ankle about four finger spaces above is a pressure point.
FOODS
Raspberry Leaf Tea
Pineapple
Spicy Foods (but can cause heartburn)
Cinnamon stick tea
Parmesan cheese
Feel free to add any suggestions you might have. Really I only ever feel like encouraging labour when I am trying to sleep and I wake from hip pain, loss of breath and braxton-hicks contractions. The late stages of pregnancy have been rough for me, but so was the first 3 months. I was sick every day.
