My first scan picture was very like your lo and I thought my baby boy's head looked a little big too...... it's perfectly fine. xxxx

That's perfectly normal. A baby's head is a much bigger proportion of his/her total body size than an adult's (I forget the exact amounts, but it's significant).

thanks for ur replies, i was just thinking that the back of the head looks like it carries on straight down its back and doesnt look like it has a neck!!!! lol
my mums convinced its a boy too, shes sure she can see a little meat and two veg! lol

yeah was wrong... but i suppose its bonus being put forward 2 weeks!
which means mine, shanes and babys birthdays will all be in january!
plus my due date is very near shanes birthday, so would be lovely for it to make a suprise appearance for his birthday! lol

Am I right in thinking that your dates were changed in the first place, so that this is more in keeping with the EDD from your LMP? (I seem to remember some debate about it originally being 27th Jan which was budge's birthday, or something like that).

from my lmp, my due date was 27th jan... then i went for an early scan and was put back a few days so my new date was 1st feb..
now theyve said its back to 27th jan... so... my tickers all confuding so ill change it later!!

No clue. P'raps it's being squashed by the amniotic fluid? Or maybe it's just proof that your little one will have a nice cute button nose instead of a great big honker?
