My princess Keira came into the world
Where to start.....
So I was overdue as my due date was Wednesday 12th sept...
Had been losing my plug since then but my waters broke Thursday 20th at 2.30pm had got out the bath felt a trickle and hubby heard a pop...had a real pain after.... Rung the hospital went down to get checked out even tho the midwife on the phone insisted that it might be bath water (had to laugh really bath water ....) got there and confirmed that yes it was my water ... I thought thank god it's not me being stupid...they booked me in to be induced the next day at 2.30pm as of the 24 hour rule of infection if I didn't go into full labour before..... So went home ... All that night I didn't sleep was having contractions but they were not coming regulary and were very up and down but was very painful in my back....
Friday.... Rung hospital at 12 said come on down... This point still in pain.. Took all my bags got there at 1 pm was shown to a bed... didn't get checked until 4 ish which was annoying as
still in lots of pain... Midwife came and confirmed I was 5 cm dilated so didn't need the tablet to get started... Was gutted tho as really wanted a water birth and now was classed as high risk

Went straight to delivery ward at 5pm. Just had gas and air... Which was amazing... Got to 8cm by 8pm had such strong urges to push but they wouldn't let me as
she was back to back and I wasn't full dilated which was hard my body really wanted to .... Didn't really have a choice ... Given hormone drip and epidural as they said the contractions would be really strong.. Waited another 3 hours no change.. .. They tried turning her but no such luck...had to have bloods taken from her scalp and be monitored ...
Saturday 22nd at 3am went down to have a c section....
By 3.23 am my daughter Keira was born weighing 7Ib 12 Absolutly beautiful me and my husband fell in love with her!!
Stayed in hospital and came home on Monday 24th September to be a family

what wonderful news... how loved your daughter will be 
Congratulations hun! Sorry you didn't the water birth, but you just don't know what's going to happen lol. Enjoy your little lady, time goes so fast! Love her name
