well..after deciding against cvs we went this week for the amnio and scan. Scan showed increased NT agen
but still we decided not to go for the amnio i was so scared i just couldnt do it.
I had a letter today saying that baby is growing normal and heart behaviour is normal, but i have another scan on the 18th dec, for look at the skeletel, my 20 wk scan on the 22nd which will look at the heart but yet another scan on the 18th jan for a proper look at the heart with a specialist to rule out any heart defects...so my jorney continues just hope it has a happy ending

oh hun i sympafise, i have to have heart scans for my baby too as i did with my son and daughter becasue i have a heart problem, at least they are looking after you and baby and if there is a problem with baby then you'll be well prepared (that's what i think) just out of intrest what is NT agen? i hope all goes well at these scans and think about how many times you get to see your baby before it's born not many people get these extra chances of a sneeky peek lol i'll be thinking of you

NT is nuchal thickness (fluid around the neck)
its started at 3.6 which is one figure over norm
then it went down
now its up to 5.7 but they did say it can fluctuate from day to day.

Hey hun,

Try not to worry - sooo much easier said than done.

We had a NT measure of 3mm then at the marker scan found she had choriod plaxus cysts in her head. Had the amnio and all came back normal.
