I feel so upset about having to give up breastfeeding, i really wanted to do it but i had too much milk and he couldnt latch on and i couldnt express. have cried a good few times about it over past few days and its hard to admit defeat and have to give him bottles when i so badly wanted to breastfeed him, still feel ive let him down but its prob for the best the probs i was having, the midwife even said theres no much you can do with him not latching due to too much milk and engorment and expressing wasnt doing much either

but i love him so much

Don't feel too bad about breast feeding I think we are headed in the same direction but I'm gonna speak to a lactation person first, Riven tends to scream when going on the boob so at the moment I am electric expressing and giving by syringe to him which obviously can't last, I am hoping that if we do have to go to formula I will still be able to combi feed him so he still gets my milk too...

Thanks ladies, i don't think the hormoans help lol after birth they go a bit haywire at times.
I know its the best desicion but the odd time i burst into tears about it, im sure in a couple of weeks i'll be over it i hope.

Went out today with my oh, my 2 girls and my beautiful baby son, just to the shops. oh insinsted i got a shop mobility cos i shouldnt be walking about much. so glad i did i seem to be able walk round house ok but outside a very short period of time i get sore and cant walk far and very slowly. my oh is giving the the blood clot jabs still another couple days of them left. im loving cuddling, feeding changing ect my little man hes so adorable cant believe hes 1 week old already :O

Oh has been brillant doing so much for me, the baby and the girls x
hope everyone else is well and havnt much of a wait x

Yeah im the same. was really ill after the section but was up and about the same night. went out for first time today and found it tough sore too it takes time to heal after a section x
