As per title, really :( I had an episiotomy, which has healed perfectly, and no one ever told me I had any tears, but I must have had, because my perineum still bleeds tiny bits every now and then. Ang everything feels so tight it might snap.

Am depressed

I'll be seeing the GP in a week's time, looking forward to showing him my shredded lady bits. Not.

I know how you feel; I had to go and see my GP a few weeks after Poppy was born because I felt like I just wasn't healing and everything was very tight and painful. It was embarrassing, but I figured I've given birth and displayed my bits to so many people during my pregnancy and labour, one more won't hurt! I was told just to keep an eye on it and not do anything too strenuous, and take saltwater/lavender oil baths. I don't want to scare you, but I'd say in all honesty it took about 5 months before I felt completely back to 'normal'. And even now, the area aches if I've been walking for a long time or doing lots of exercise. Give it time, you will start to feel better xx

:hugs: I hope the dr is able to help you hun

I had an episiotomy too but unfortunately my stitches came undone and didnt heal the way it should have where I was cut, so I'm still having problems.

Eta - its good that yours has healed well and it will probably just take time, but at least the dr can help to

Birth feels like so long ago and the memories of it are becoming more and more repressed, it feels like going back in time :( Do not want!

(I think I might have done some damage by trying to have sex too early. And it was my damn idea, I should just mind my own business!)

just wanted to say i had sex early (3 weeks after) and still healed just fine so hopefully everything is ok you havent done any damage and it will go away soon for you xx
