My first official scan on Wednesday

Well after 2 emergency scans i evenually have my proper first scan on wednesday. I am so excited i will be 15 and half week pregnant. I had an emergency scan at 12 weeks so i doubt i will have another scan maybe just talk with a midwife and get some blood taking

Can anyone tell me what happens at your first appointment and also i aint going to hospital i am going to the health centre which i found quite weird

If you are being looked after by a MW rather than a consultant then you will go to a health centre or GPs surgery. Hospitals are for poorly people and you're a well (I guess) woman who is pregnant - not ill!

There may be some paper work to fill in - medical history etc if that's not been done and then the regular urine and BP checks. You might get to hear baby's HB but some areas dont do that so early on
