My belly has dropped already!?

im just over 30 weeks now and my bump was quite high up but yesterday it dropped really low down.. is it not too soon? any info needed.. i cant rem when it happened with my last pregnancy but i think it was in the last couple weeks not this soon..

I don't know whether it's too soon, but I do know babies can engage several weeks before labour starts. As long as there are no pains, bleeding or leaking water I wouldn't have thought it would be any cause for concern. At least your ribs might get a rest now

Just went to do some investigating for you. Some people online who have said their tummy dropped early, tended to seem to give birth a little earlier....Like 37 week mark.

Though, this could just be coincidence.

However, the general gist I get from reading is that for some it happens two days before labours, others it is 3 months. So there is not set answer. Your body is simply doing what is natural for it to do

my bump was low early on and baby was head down from 28wks

when mine dropped my heartburn got loads better
it was great, i was pretty low to start with mind you

If I remember rightly my pregnancy book said that bumps can drop around 32 weeks as the baby prepares head down for birth.

phew.. babies been head down position since weeek 28.. im sure its nothing to worry about, hope not anyway, dont want her coming out too early...

i dont think it's a really bad thing... i dont want a really early birth. i'm not ready!
