coming down with cold and running nose with water eyes.. he has got bit of temperature, just given him calpol.. may question is I dont want overdose him with meds, is it okay to give it to him every 4 hours or not? I was thinking put bit of normal vicks on his sleepy suit, tiny bit, does that helps?

I wouldn't put it on his sleepsuit, I put some on a tissue next to the cot.
Double check the instructions for the calpol. Try and tilt the cot at one end so his head is a bit higher. Hope he gets better soon, it's horrid when they have colds

I think those karvol drops can be used sooner than vicks (vicks can really irritate the skin even on babies and children above 6 months)
Provided baby is over 3 months every 4 hours is fine with the calpol but I wouldn't keep it up for more than 24-36 hours at a young age without getting lo checked over x
