MY BABY IS HERE TOO!!!!

Went into hosp overnite on tues ,due to blood pressure (turned out it was nothing)
Came home on Wed, started feeling like i was heavily constipated in the evening, went to the loo and emptied bowels (A LOT)
Was up and down all through the nite.
All day Thursday was getting pains went into apattern in the afternoon from 1pm
Then 5pm were every 7 mins apart.Foned ward ( as i was previous section and was only booked for a trial of labour )
Was told to come in, 9PM examined and was 3CM dilated
doctor looked at me 4hours later then i was 5CM
Was only taking some gas and air
Waters broke at this point and all HELL broke loose
Went from 5 to 10 in less than 10 mins
Baby was very distressed, no time for anything. Heart Rate was down as low as 40
Was no chance of a epidural had to be cut and baby was deliverd with the help of forceps.
Whole second stage only lasted 13 mins
God what a shock
Baby is fine now
Born Friday morning 01:43 am
LITTLE GIRL 6LB 14OZ
Beautiful and I am coming to terms with the shock of the birth.

Would just like to say how brave all of you who have natural and home births are (SUPERWOMEN!!!).
I never thought I would get through it but I did. And after having a section the first time I am glad ofthe experience. However traumatic nothing in the world can compare!!!!

I see Kellie has had her baby too good luck to u!!!

My baby had to be delivered by ventouse because he was in distress, its horrible isnt it, so scary!
