So I thought I was cleaver and could track my cycles-but apparently not.... for the past however many months I have had 28 day cycles. So me thinking I'm great worked out when I would be due on before we started trying to conceive and also when I would then be fertile... well this month I'm at least a day late, I was due on yesterday and still no sign :(

Looking at tracking my ovulation that throws me out by a couple of days, if I then go back to 28 day cycles then I will not only be on my heaviest period day for our wedding, but it'll be the second week on honeymoon I'm fertile, which is fine... the issue is if I have a couple more cycles like this-I may not even be fertile on honeymoon at all :( :wall2: I know it's not the end of the world and chances are we wouldn't get pregnant that first month of trying anyway, but it's just so annoying when I thought I had everything sussed out in my head.

Also why after being so regular are my periods off this month??? Just why body, why!!??

My body did that I was 28days regularly then one month it was 30 & I thought I was pregnant! I wasn't & was in floods of tears after! However the following month I released two eggs & was carrying twins!

Sadly since then I've lost them but sometimes your body releases more than one egg if the dates go abit squif!!

Xx

It's not unusual for cycles to vary occasionally. Doesn't mean anything is wrong, it's just "one of those things". You'll probably find it goes right back to normal next cycle or two.

Still no sign of AF

But yeah, I'm not worried-it's just annoying more than anything, hope I don't end up having longer cycles.

Sorry to hear about your loss wishinghoping :(

Just thinking, I'm glad this has happened now, as if it happened while I was trying it would drive me crazy... although if it happens while we are trying it will still drive me crazy.

It's here..

I've realised I was way over-reacting about this being a longer cycle as well.

At the end of the day I don't want to take anything to stop my periods as we want to be able to try for a baby straight after the wedding. So really I just need to wait and see what happens, if I end up having my period on my wedding day or on honeymoon it's not the end of the world, it will just be the start of us being able to try.

Mine are all over too. 31 days for a long while, and now they're up to 36, which is extremlely annoying for TTC! I'm hoping though as I lose weight, they come back regular.

You girls are lucky. My cycles can be anything from 18 days long (with most of those days bleeding) right up to 70 days long. Normally though they're far too short around 21-25 days long with bleeding that lasts at least 7-10 days and is extremely heavy and painful with a very short luteal phase of well under 10 days most cycles. :(

I'm peri-menopausal though with low ovarian reserves which has totally messed up my cycles. I always used to be a 28 day girl without fail and then bam! They just changed.
