I don't think it's anything terrible, probably just a fungus, but still better checked than left xx

Have you googled it? It's nothing serious and will resolve on its
Own but it's usually down to hygiene but with a 6 month old who probably doesn't have any teeth yet it's not totally necessary to brush their gums. Still worth a trip to the docs to be on safe side and see what they say going forward. X
