Every time I make my son a bottle of milk he drinks a bit and takes break and carries on doing the same thing. He looks a bit slim compared to a few weeks ago. Not sure why he can't drink without stopping like he use to. Am I feeding him the wrong milk powder? I use Aptamil.

How much is he drinking per feed? Have you had him weighed recently? He may seem slimmer if he's grown length-wise in that time. As long as you're offering a first infant milk formula, you're giving him the right stuff.

My lo has always been a grazer, he tends to eat little and often. Maybe your lo is the same. Is he putting on weight as expected? Does he have plenty of wet nappies? X

I'm having the same problem, my lo is 4.5 months and suddenly only wants 2 or 3 oz each feed, it's really frustrating. I'm going to talk to the HV today and see what they think.

What bex said, first thing I thought of is the teat size, ignore the ages on the teats, just test them out, he'll either be able to drink from them or he will find it too much. My suspicion is that he's getting bored that he can't get milk through as quickly as he wants it so is just giving up xx

I changed from aptamil to cow and gate (before changing to lactose free) and oscar much preferred that. Aptamil made oscar very windy and didn't help as the wind often was trapped, painful and meant he wouldn't drink much.
