Sam looks as though he has got an Ulcer on his bottom gum.

I know this is a really dumb question but, do babies get mouth ulcers?

Or is more likely to be from his teething?

When the tooth starts to break the gum it can look like an ulcer - is it where a tooth would be growing from? If yes then I would guess that this is what it is. If you run the handle of a silver spoon over his gum you will hear a little clink if there is any tooth there. :D

Yes it is where a tooth would be right on the top of his gum :( it is where your incisors are.

Doesnt seem likely he would cut an incisor first but I suppose its possible? Most likely he has cut his gum a bit eh? Poor lad, hope it clears up soon then.

I thought C had an ulcer when her first tooth was coming - they do look similar. Either way, teething gel will help (OH used teething gel on an ulcer and said it was exactly like bonjela!)
