My almost 3 week old sometimes sleeps with her mouth open Is this something I should be worried about I’m seeing the doctor Thursday about this!! Also sometimes it sounds like she’s swallowing air or her tongue like she can’t breathe for a second. She doesn’t snore!!! Could this be a tied tongue or sleep apnea ?

My daughter does this and she's 9 weeks old. Does she make a squeaky noise, like she can't breathe?

No squeaky noise just she’s sometimes seems like she’s swallowing saliva and her tongue before breathing again like she’s trying to catch her breath. I used saline lastnight though now she is sleeping with her mouth closed

She probably just had a stuffy nose then, they don't know how to breathe well out of their mouths. Those snot suckers work really well by the way!x
