Stupid shop!!!

Brought Phoebe some new Mothercare bottles in May. After a week the numbers started rubbing off so took them back (no reciept or box). The woman looked at them and gave me an exchange no probs.
Had them 3 weeks and the numbers are rubbing off :x
Took them back today for another exchange. This time I took the reciept the woman had given me from the previous exchange.
But...... It wasn't for the correct item!! They had cocked it up!!! I wasn't going anywhere. I had their own brand faulty goods and the supervisor was refusing to exchange them.
I said to her they're faulty. Forget the reciept as I have a right to exchange faulty goods with or without a reciept.
But she was having none of it.
Then the manager walked in. Supervisor called her over and explained and she said 'Oh just put it through as an exchange with no reciept' Exactly what I'd said all along!!!
The supervisor went bright red and must have felt like such an idiot!!
That'll teach her... Going on a little power trip!!
Bless :rotfl:

I have had 3 lots of tommee tippee bottles that have done that.

I believe they had made a bad batch but i couldn't find the number to ring them, its a bit late now i think, i'll just have to go back and buy some different brand.

Mine all done that especially the tomme tipee one's i have and even boots own brand done the same too. I find that the advent ones are really good and the numbers dont seem to rub off them dont know weither anyone else use's them??

i had this problem with boots bottles, the numbers rubbing of then they cant be used as i cant measure the feeds...

i never took them back thou

My tommee tippee ones have done the same but haven't bothered to take them back. The avent ones don't rub off but they leak everywhere. My sister in law has them for my niece and is constantly complaining cos they leak so no idea lol.

Well I am just p*ssed off with Mothercare coz everything is practically out of stock on their website!

that happened 2 me with the tommee tippee 1s, but i usually put chloes milk powder in the bottle 1st then the water(from a different container) cos the milk used 2 stick 2 the spoon thingy and i wanted 2 make sure i wasnt under or over powdering!!!!
