I bought it as one of tanias xmas presents, i put it up to make sure all pieces was there.
An being cheeky i decided to let her have a go in it..
but guess what the straps are too small
i mean what the hell!!!!!!!
they are at the loosest they go and it wont fasten. an tania isnt THAT big!
I am really anoyed with this as its £40 ive wasted on something i thought she'd love but now she wont be able to have it
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
an mothercare wont take the item back because box has been opened an its not damaged or parts missing.
They wont accept my reason for the straps being small.
ughhhhhhhhhhhh i dont exactly have the money to go wasting either :x

How long ago did you buy it? If it's not fit for its purpose surely they'll have to refund? I would whinge to them big style!

i bought it last wednesday. decided to put it up earlier. i still got reciept. i payed by card.
But they wont accept it
I rung the store i bought it from and spoke to them that way.
I cant go taking it back to the store as i wouldnt be able to carry the box with pushing pram.

I just had a look on the site hun and under one of the customer reviews it mentions the tight straps.
TBH i would push again for a refund if they wont budge the reviewer mention using reigns instead, but unsure as to how she did that IYKWIM

Get in touch with Citizens advice. Goods should be fit for the purpose intended. It says its suitable for up to 3 years so at 8 months there should be plenty movemnent in straps

eek the reviews are terrible

Last week I bought a slightly different version as it now appears to be called a 7-in-1 trekker. My daughter is 9 months old and doesn't walk or crawl so I strapped her in with the harness and attached the side safety bars. Although she is not a large child, the harness barely fitted her. On only her second time of using, she lent to the side and the whole thing toppled over. She banged her head on the floor and we ended up in A&E. I have returned the item to Mothercare and would definitely warn other Mums to be careful!

your statutory rights say if an item is not fit for purpose they MUST give you a refund.. (not just a credit note)

Oh my god!! We got one from tesco for £15 and its brill! I would be fuming if I were you. I hope you get it sorted - keep on at them.
