More injections

Has anyone else been told about these pneumonia jabs they are now introducing.

They are supposed to be adding them to the 3 injections they already have. My GP's only got told about it last week, so all children under 1 have to have them.

Jack has already had 2 of the 3 lots injections so they have to squeeze in the 3 pneumonia jabs in inbetween summer/autumn when they are starting and the MMR jabs!!

So he has to have 3 more injections in the space of 7 months!! so these 3 are bad enough but when these are finished he has to have 3 more, then his MMR.

It is better than him suffering with the illness, Amy doesn't get them as her body can fight it apparently.

Yeah we took Phoebe for her 3rd set of jabs today and the nurse told us the Government are trying to introduce a new injection. A booster she told us?

She said if they introduce it then Phoebe will need it in June so they will write to us as and when. If not she is due back in December for her MMR.

Not sure, she said she would have some more info on it when Jack is going to have his 3rd Jab

all children under 1 have to have them.

unless you give consent thay cannot give your child any immunisations, so if you don't want your baby to have it then it's your choice entirely! if they really are bringing in another one i will be getting all the info before i consent (or not)!

i am definately giving my consent, i would rather him have the jabs than be really really ill with pneumonia (sp)

I'll get all the info next time i go, it was just just friendly chat that she was telling me

I never got told that, i got told that kacy would be having more when she is 12 or 18 months old. and she had her last lot yesterday

so, is it to say we should refuse the Men C jab and tell our surgery we'd rather have the new one with the booster? (end of the article)
