Hi guys as you know I'm moving (can't say that enough!!!) basically it'll mean we are far away from my doctors that I won't be in there catchment area (its a dump of a docs anyway so not bothered) I SHOULD cone under the same hospital care tho.
Will I have to change midwife? Will I need to register at my new doctors and ask for a midwife? Or should I ring up the number for the midwives in my blue book and ask them what the best thing to do is? I don't want to tell anyone until were settled and I have the chance to register at the docs, I'm worried if I tell my new doctor they'll refuse to see me and if something happens I'm stuck! Anyone had to do this??

when i moved area, i changed doctors and my new doctor told me until they had my paperwork i would be under the care of my previous doctor. It didnt take long to move everything over though. But i suppose you really need to know who to contact regarding a midwife... Id ask your current midwife and she should know.

xx
