midwife today

Since it is already Thursday I am going to the midwife today. Not been to bed yet as I cannot sleep. Not good. Part of me hopes my waters break while in the waiting room so I just need to go upstairs into the labour ward but something tells me lil madam is holding onto that umbilical cord for dear life until Sunday!

Someone told me, (this might be a load of balls - likely)

But if they are ready to pop anyway, then you can encourage them to break by doing a few strong pushes as if pushing the baby out?!
