Ahhhh good lol. Cleaning a 4year olds bedroom is not something I particularly want to do / face this morning lol.

Hi when she came over to my house we were actually renovating!! I was mortified we had no furniture no floors no work tops in kitchen lol so had to take her to our spare bedroom/study! Actually want her to come back now so she can see we're not slobs lol

Haha sarah thats funny. I wud die lol. I keep thinking that I need to blitz the house but at the end of the day I do live in my house and my 4year is playing with her toys so if they ate out when she comes oh well. I mean my house isnt a dump but its not perfect today either so oh well.

She'll only be interested in you and how your coping , she'll not be the slightest bit interested in whether you've done the housework honestly, that's why she's a midwife and not a house inspector. It'll be fine don't worry really. xx

I'm sure if it was a 'How clean is your house' house, she would be concerned, you know if she had to climb in it and sidestep down a little tunnel of crap to sit in the only chair in the house that wasn't covered in crap. I'm sure yours in a normal, healthy house that houses a child, and is therefore not perfect but a stable healthy house for a baby to be brought in to. I had a home visit from the midwife and she didn't even look around, went from front door to sofa and back again, without so much as a glance.....and we'd been flooded the night before and the hall carpet was wet and it smelt damp :(

Hey hun, my MW is coming to my house later today too for the 2nd app and I've just been panicking too! haha So glad you wrote this thread, my OH is off tidying the house - I'll leave him to it and tell him after he didn't need to bother ;) :D
Don't know why I feel nervous about this appt, I know it'll just be standard questions etc, just finally looking forward to getting a scan booked in.

I had Jeremy Kyle on when she came to ours and as I was staying at MILs, house was always full and abit messy but she wasn't bothered x
