Midwife Appt. Date

I have just spoke to my midwife and because she is away in June I can't get a booking appointment until the 17th June!! I will be 11+5 weeks by then!! Isn't this really late I was looking forward to seeing a midwife earlier than that, and now I'm thinking its going to make me having my first scan much later too!!

I feel so upset that I have to wait so long, probably made worse by the fact there is another girl at work who is pregnant (due dates 1 day apart, mines first) and she gets a midwife appointment for the 4th June!! Why is it me that has to get one 2 weeks after her!!!

Sorry for the rant, but my OH doesn't understand why I'm upset about it! xx

they might be able to get u booked straight in for a scan hun?? i got my scan date before my m/w appt! xx

oh and also my m/w appt is bang on 11 weeks and my scan bang on 12 so mine isn't much ahead of urs, make sure u tell her u want a scan asap after booking in appt xx

I'm not even sure who books the scan the midwife at ur appointment or do they do it before? Xx

I booked my own scan. Im roughly 11 weeks. Went docs about 3 weeks ago and booked the midwife but she was out so called back the same day but only appt she could do was for 2m the 31st( so excited ) and she gave me the number for the scan dept at the hospital. Called them and now have my scan on the 7th nxt week (even more excited). I was like u too and was doing my ohs head in with tons of qs mainly do u really think i am preggers lol just scared im gonna go there and get disappointed but suppose its paranoia lol x
