We're team yellow and we've pretty much settled on the name Alice if we have a girl. No boy first name yet but there's a family middle name we need to use. I think if we had a middle name for a boy then a girl would need one too so they're not left out otherwise to be honest I wouldn't be bothering with middle names! Which middle names go nicely with Alice? X

Alice Kate? I think a lot of names could go with Alice depending on your surname so you should be able to find something you like :)

If you don't want a middle name then don't have one, but I do know what you mean about giving both middle names. One of my cousins doesn't have middle name and his brother does and it has bothered him a bit in the past. Not so much anymore but there is always that stage to go through.

For some reason as soon as I thought Alice I thought Ivy. Alice Ivy? I think that sounds nice :) Not many Ivy's about either.

Surname is Baker if that helps! There's already a Katie in the family so Kate might be too similar. It's not that I really don't want a middle name it's just I don't have one so never really seen the need :)

I don't have a middle name but both my brothers do. It's the same for a few of my cousins too. Don't think anyone feels lift out/cheated, etc. I wouldn't worry about it too much. We'll be in a similar situation to you but the opposite way round - we have a family middle name for a girl but not for a boy. So any boys we have will probably get just the one name and our first girl will get two. Any additional girls would probably just have the one unless something else just seems to work. I don't think it matters.

Alice Ava, Grace, Hope, Mae, Rose, Penelope, Alexandra, Clementina Baker.

Here are few middle that can match with the name Alice

Alice Joelle
Alice Nadine
Alice Victoria
Alice Jacleen
Alice May
Alice Violet
Alice Georgia

Good Luck..... :)

My dh came up with a great idea for a middle name, use our best friends names as they will be the non-religious version of godparents. I think it's a lovely idea and deaf going for that, our friends don't know this yet, it's going to be a surprise :) x
