Hello,
Just to introduce myself, my name is Lisa, 34, and I live in Bucks. I moved to England from Michigan in 2002, after marrying my English hubby. We are expecting our first child in September and feel overjoyed! The pregnancy has been fairly normal so far and I can't complain. I had a few weeks of morning sickness, but it didn't last long. My worst complaint is lack of sleep, stomach acid, food aversions and thirst.
I am only just snapping out of the daze since finding out we were expecting and have finally stopped asking hubby every night, "am I really pregnant?"
I am joining this forum in search of some support during this time. With family and close friends still back in Michigan, this happy time feels a bit lonely and I look forward to talking to experienced women and inexperienced first timers like myself.
