Can anyone give advice on either one of these pumps?

The Phillips Avent Comfort one seems to advertise itself on the fact you can sit back in your chair and don't need to lean forward to get the milk out which seems like a really useful feature as I sit in a rocking chair most of the time.

However, there are a lot of reviews saying the Phillips breaks or loses suction and the Medela one seems to be a bit more trustworthy.

Can anyone let me know their experience of using the Medela Swing and if you can get into a nice comfortable seated position with it?

Thanks in advance,

Katie

I bought the medela swing last week, only used it once as lo will only be six weeks on monday. I sat on the sofa, slightly upright, had no problems with expressing found the pump excellent to use and delighted with the purchase. sorry can't give more details as only used once. x

I'm using the swing. Loving it so far. I find that I can overcome the upright issue by massagng the breast as I pump.

Thanks. I plumped for a second hand medela in the end but if I see the Avent on at a decent offer I might get that at a later date and just return it when it inevitably breaks.

I have the swing and I used it everywhere. Sat up in bed, sat in the car, in a pub etc. It's great. I have no complaints xxx
