I just posted this on another thread but thought would post separately too just in case..

My mom asked a shop lady in Mothercare how to buy a nursing bra if you have no idea what size you're gonna be.

The Mothercare lady told her that they take your size before the baby, and then go one size lower in the back and one size higher in cup.

So I'm a 36b now and was told to get 34c. *Apparently* you'll lose the back size after you've had the baby, but when the milk comes in you'll put on an average of one cup size, possibly 2 but definately 1.

Just thought i'd post it in case anyone else like me was too embarrased to ask, or just in case it may help someone else out!

Im going to get my nursing bras measured next week. Im not bothered about who sees my boobs tho  I will bear your advice in mind tho :D

Hoping it's right.. that's what the lady said anyway. My mom had great pleasure pointing her out when she walked past and said ooh hello, there's that lovely lady that answered my question, and I was like yeah thanks mom :|

That's great that you go down a back size immediate - I've gone from a 36c pre pregnancy to a 40d and the choice deminishes quite a bit.

Thanks for this info Michelle.

I just need to get the nursing bra then my bag is complete!

im a 36A so id get 34B? think they do it in that size time to ask the bf :rotfl:
