Hello ladies, I hope the hot weather isn't making us all unbearable uncomfortable! A quick question, I woke on Friday night with a big of pain in my bump, kind of felt like a pulled/ sore muscle near my belly button. Only a small area, about an inch in diameter. It's gig progressively worse to the point where every time I move or baby kicks, I'm in agony! I can barely stand up straight! It's all around the middle of my bump, surrounding my belly button... I can't touch the area or move without crying out... And I usually have a high pain threshold!!

Has anyone else had anything like this? I'm 33 weeks xxx

Ive not had this, but if I were you I'd give your midwife a call and see what she says :)

Would defo give someone a call if u r in that much pain hun, they will no what to advise.

I've had an odd pain there, similar place and size but nowhere near the pain you are describing and it only lasts a while then leaves. I would ring your midwife Hun, better to be safe xx

I'm 34+6 and haven't had anything like this. Agree with the other ladies that you should ring your midwife or maternity unit xx

Thanks ladies. I'm seeing the health visitor tomorrow, would she know anything? I just don't want to waste a midwife's time x

Personally I would call the midwife and ask for advice rather than the health visitor. IMO midwife is more likely to know what may of caused it. You are never wasting their time if you have concerns, that is what they are there for hun x

My bump is very sore but its muscular. Your pain sounds very uncomfortable xx

Well I've been looking at my belly... And it looks lower! I've got a couple of inches between boob and bump, which I didn't before... Could it be that he has dropped and that's causing the lower part of my bump to suddenly stretch out? X
