When can I give this to son. He is 9 months old. I bought some as I am sure that I read on here it was good to give hime ( I know that it is full of vitamin B6). Thing is when I read ingredients salt was the second ingredient.

Can I give it to him?

think alex had it about this time - only the tinest spread of it though as i was a bit worried about the salt.

check with your hv if you are still worried hun.

I give marmite (very thin spead) on bread once in a while, Jamie had it from about 7 months.

I was bought up on marmite and apparantly used to dip my dummy in the jar when my mum wasn't looking I'm sure if you are careful about salt overall in his diet a scraping wouldn't harm, I can't wait to see if Leorah shares my passion, I ate loads when pregnant and now while I'm breastfeeding.

Thanks girls. Haven't given him any yet. We are having a new kitchen and old one was ripped out on Saturday - New one going in next Monday. So everything is in boxes and I can't find the one wiht marmite in. when I unpack everything I will give it a go.
