Ok so i know its really early to be worrying about this but.... on my last baby (3rd) i had a bit a tough labour (he was back to back) but managed on just gas and air for the last 2 hours (out of 10!) and was devistated that i ended up havig to have manual removal! I had the injection to help get the placenta ot but t didnt work. I squated with the cord hanging out for 5 hours with various people coming in and tugging it before they decided id have to go to surgery to have manual removal which meant leaving my baby a spinal and being alone throughout. Anyway i asked my midwife if it was likely to happen again and she said that it is more likely as there will be scar tissue for the placenta to get stuck to, i just wandered if anyone had had a manual removal and gone on to deliver the placenta with no problems next time round??
