I have been amazingly lucky throughout my whole pregnancy and felt pretty good. No sickness, aches or pains. Ive really enjoyed being pregnant. (Permission to slap me if you haven't.)

I am 29 weeks pregnant today and I'm starting to feel uncomfortable and completely zapped of energy. Now I know there are ladies that have had and are having it a hell of a lot worse. So what things help you get through day to day or helped you when you were pregnant? I've bought a birthing ball because I've heard it can be good to back pain and labour itself. I'm new to this do just wondering if anyone has any tips for making it through tri 3? Xx

Definitely napping when you can. Sitting on a ball really does help as well instead of slouching on the sofa! Ive also been drinking lots of water, eating fruit and veg and taking omega 3 and vit b6. Ive felt pretty good up until 30 weeks plus! Oh and getting as much help from hubby as poss (massages, cooking, cleaning etc...) oh which reminds me, I've also had two pregnancy spa package things which have been bliss! Good luck xxx

My legs dont work sometimes
My hips get sore and just go and i more or less drag them
I need to physically lift them into the car!

I've gone off most foods
Eating and drinking is a chore
When I do eat i cant eat much cos I run out of room very quickly and proceed to get heartburn afterwards

Im tired ALL the time
I get breathless and weak
I dont sleep good cos im up peeing all night or tossing and turning cos im getting sore in the one position

Its just not fun
I cant say im happy about it. Ive not really enjoyed pregnancy full stop
Only thing i like is that my bump is all at the front and Ive not put any weight on...
I just put up with it and feel miserable. Long awaiting for it to be over. Lol x

Not too long now MrsS, I bet everyday feels like a lifetime though. Completely know what you mean about your legs not working. I was stood in the kitchen earlier and felt weird so I sat on the floor. OH thought I had collapsed. I explained how I just had to sit down. Think he thinks I'm mad. Xx

I was in asda when it happened so couldn't just sit
My worry would be getting back up lol

Rest, rest, rest and find a hobby that you can comfortably do whilst sat on ya bum :) x

Definitely take it easy and don't push yourself, I've found the last few weeks I've been so tired (doesn't help that I've been decorating the whole house every weekend for the past month)
When do you start your maternity leave?

Rest when you can even if it's just to read a trashy magazine and eat and drink little and often xx

My last day of work is the 23rd October. So 8 weeks left! Feels so far away, but I'm hoping it flies by. Xx

Don't feel bad for sitting, feeling sorry for yourself and having a bloody good sob! I have never cried as much as I did in 3rd tri with ds2, it was flipping awful.

I just second this really. I feel almost identical to this. Eating is really getting me down. I struggle a lot but also haven't gained weight, in fact am slimmer except for bump.

Although I will say that just trying to keep positive and know that some days will always be better really helps. I'm trying to keep the end result firmly in my mind and the fact that I'm nearly there.

We'll make it together ladies. :) xx

P.s. Walking by the sea really really cheers me up and I think helps me be less achy. Recommend a nice walk somewhere pretty if you can muster the energy. (Which is hard I know!)

I walked 3 miles a day (easier when I went on maternity leave). Nice lunches with friends, booking a couple of pregnancy massages to look forward to, read a few books and rested when I could with a couple of duvet days. Even at this I hated pregnancy, every part of me was sore, I had total insomnia, restless legs, burning feet, aches and pains (which turned out to be a womb infection which has only been picked up last week). BUT all of this goes the minute you give birth :-)

Thought I must be the only one having regualr cries now!

Purplecloud, if this is your first just try to get as much rest as you can and enjoy silence at night! I knew second time would be challenging but the end half of tri3 really has pushed my limits, AND I have a really supportive hubby.

Eat little and often, have a bottle of gaviscon ready at all times, take cool showers, eat ice lollies, wear whatever is comfy, try to remember that life will go on after baby so if its a choice between lots of restful time or redecorating, then maybe postpone?

Thanks ladies. Loving the tips. This is my first an I'm sure this is going to a real shoo to the system. I completely expect this little one to turn our life upside down. 😁 Xx

I find that the only thing that helps me is complaining loudly lol
