no their was definatly a commet in the sky around hang on till i think it wasnt long after my grandad died so hang on till i count back

im pretty sure it was 1994 or after
i just thought it was called hayleys commet

I didn't see the planets this morning - was too cloudy

yes there was a comet not so long back - Hailey Bop. Doesn't anybody remember that freaky arsed cult in America that all committed suicide to it? They reckoned it was their home and it had come down to take them back to it, so they all killed themselves! *shudders*

Did anybody see the solar eclipse in 1999? Up here in Leeds there was only partial totality, but my mam and I travelled down to Cornwall for the event because down there the eclipse was total. It was a cloudy day unfortunately, but still it was AMAZING when it happened. It went dusk, night, dawn, day all within minutes! The lighthouse started going off and all the seagulls were going barmy! haha! I'll never forget that, it was amazing.

I didnt bother looking outside this morning to see the plantes, I was up for Elora's morning feed, but it was way to cold to do anything. I'll have another look in 50 years time hehe

see i knew i wasnt making it up

i remember the eclips too, we got free glasses with the daily mirror news papare for it but we didnt see the full thing but i still remember it,
just last week infact on uktv people the Airport prog it was on only one of the captains went to france to see it but their was an Aeroplain in the sky and showd you the full thing from the air

would have been amazing to see it from the sky

hehehehehe still giggling cos i knew i wasnt going mad about the commet a while ago hehehehe
