longer cycles after fertility treatment?

feeling super fed up!

I had my first ivf round in Nov and ever since then my cycles have been slightly irregular and long compared to my previous cycles which were 28 days (sometimes a day early or day late but never past 30!).

32 days - failed ivf
29 days
34 days - had to take norethisterone to delay period for our wedding
30 days
27 days
32 days - failed ivf
31 days

currently on day 31 with no signs of af yet, needs to get a move on so I can start my fet!


is there anything I can do try regulate if the fet doesn't work out? I can't keep having long cycles like this get my hopes up!

I think this is quite common with fertility treatments especially where you're on hormones... after my first IUI af was 3 days late. I thought it was the progesterone but my consultant said it was probably because I was stressing about whether the treatment had worked! If it's only the odd day or two different I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure it will settle down, but so annoying when you want to get on with your next cycle!!

Just fed up of my cycles being past 30 days always gets my hopes up for nothing!

I'm cd33 now and probably going to test tomorrow just to shut my mind up!

Yeah that's the worst cos it gives you hope that you're late! Might be worth getting some real cheapies for testing for piece of mind! *hugs*
