Light period or spotting?

Hi

I am on CD 70- something and have provera to pick up from the pharmacy tomorrow to induce a period before I start my letrozole cycle. Since Monday I have had very light bleeding / spotting. A panty liner is enough and it only occurs once a day i.e. I go to the loo, see the blood, change my panty liner and no more until the next day.

Is this spotting or a very light period? I'm thinking it's somewhere in between but not a full period since it's not a steady flow.

Anyone else had this or have any thoughts? Not sure if it's still okay to start my provera?

I would class it as spotting. My periods can sometimes be light but I tend to wait until it's there every time I wipe or go to the toilet. It can be a steady flow just light too.

It's so difficult to know!
