Light Bleeding

Hi everyone im just new on here. I need some advice found yesterday that im 9 weeks 6 days pregnant. Everything has been fine upto today yeah ive had all the symptoms bachache, loss of appetite, tiredness, been feeling really cold even tho my stomach and back are roasting but today i started to get light bleeding its like a pinky red colour i dont have any pain though.
I have been informed that this can be down to many things such as urine infection, the baby nesting and some women still do get their periods when pregnant. I have been in contact with my GP and he has advised me to monitor it today and i have an appointment with him tomorrow morning. Im really worried and was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

Between 4-8 weeks if I did anything too strenuous I'd get some light brown coloured bleeding and tbh it scared me to my very core! Mine wasn't pinky/red though. If you start getting bad cramps and/or heavy clotty bleeding I would go down to a&e and they should be able to help you.

Well i went to the docs today and was given a course of anti-biotics got a scan tomorrow i still experiencing the bleeding but in no pain whatsoever so just gonna keep my fingers crossed. I have heard from friends and family that many pregnant women experience bleeding in pregnancy so heres hoping

Hi hun i had also bleeding from 5 weeks through to 12 weeks thankfully all was ok with the baby so im hoping all will be ok for you too keeping everything crossed for you take it easy.

I bled on several occasions.. around 6, 7, 9 11 and 20 weeks. Never any real reason for it but my little man arrived as healthy as can be. Try not to panic. Some women do just bleed and it turns out to be fine x

Hi hun,

I was the same as DebbieM, I was bleeding every other week from 5 weeks to 20 weeks, sometimes bright red, sometimes pink, sometimes brown. There was no explantion for it, i suppose I was 'one of those ladies'. Try not to worry yourself to much, anything serious would 'usually' be accompained by pain and cramping.

I had what I thought was a period at 4 wks, then bled again from 7-8wks (brown blood not red). I was sent for a scan and all was well - the scan showed an 'echo' of old blood below the uterus which is where the midwife thought the bleeding was coming from - no real explaination for it and it stopped after about a week. I never had any pain although the whole thing was very traumatic.

I'm now coming up to 12wks and am hoping I don't experience my monthly bleed...

Good luck with your scan, I hope everything goes ok, oh and if you're worried about what happens in the scan (I'm assuming it's internal), just let me know and I'll fill you in on the details. It was no where near as bad as I'd imagined.

Well sadly my story doesnt have a happy ending. The scan showed nothing and the pregnancy test came up negative today so they came to the conclusion that i miscarried a few days ago. I dont quite understand how it happened as i had no pain and did not pass any clots but i now realise its just human nature and it wasnt meant to be for us at this moment in time.
I would however urge anyone that experiences any bleeding to go straight to doctor and demand an early scan. I went through 2 days of torment due to the nhs and i wouldnt wish that on anyone.
