Can anyone shed any light on when this might start happening and what it is like? I found a small lump in my breast last week and I've been to the docs, I mentioned that i'd had some water like leakage but only a very small amount on a couple of occasions - the doc said that this was normal - has anyone else experienced anything like this, I'm a little worried as you can imagine - the doc said to go back in a couple of wks to see if the lump has gone - fingers crossed.

I didnt want to read & run - I dont really know this is my first pregnancy and havent had any leaky boobs yet so would be interested in the replies!

I have my fingers crossed for you about your lump & good to see someone else on here from Oxford :cheer:

I'm finding it hard as its my first pregnancy and the subject matter is not always something you want to chat about with friends (if that makes sense?)

Where abouts in Oxon are you? Perhaps we'll meet in one of the Mums & Babies walking clubs, think there is one in Witney!

I know alot of people have leaky boobs during pregnancy don't worry hun

In my pregnancy with DD one of my boobs leaked from the middle of 2nd tri and at the most annoying times! I'd be unaware of leakage until I felt a cold sensation on my boob and look down and there'd be a wet patch!

This time I haven't had any leakage at all!

Only advice is to get yourself some breast pads for if/when they start leaking properly and other than that, don't worry!

Don't worry hun, it's perfectly normal but if it gets any worse just pop some breast pads in!

I have just bought some breast pads as hear that leaky boobs can start really early.......some ladies get it from 20 weeks and Im expecting something to happen in the next month or so, if not sooner.

As to the lump, am sure the doctor will keep an eye on it - I have read that once your breasts start getting ready to produce milk (and this can be early for some people), you can get blocked milk glands which may explain the lump, but am sure your doctor knows best!

P.S

I used to work in Witney (years ago) and have friends in Witney and Cassington......small world!!
