Two of my friends have their little ones starting school this week and they've said they will struggle to hold the tears back. Luckily I work in a secondary school so don't have to contend with that, I think most of the parents can't wait for them to come back to school!!
I am only back for 3 weeks until maternity leave starts so I don't have a class this year. Not 100% sure what the head will have me doing but I've made it clear that since the bleed I've been advised to rest and not be around any stressful situations so hopefully she'll not give me anything too physical or stressful to do.
I'm going in for the training days on Thurs and Fri this week and officially begin leave on Mon when lessons start being taught - will feel really wierd not being there joining in the ritual groans and moans about people's timetables and who has got who in their classes and 'why on earth has this kid picked my subject for A Level' - but more importantly will be missing out on the gossip!
