Anyone know of any large baby shops or retail outlets in scotland? I'm looking for somewhere like kiddicare so we can see lots of furniture on display instead of just on the Internet or 2 or 3 pieces in the smaller shops.

My last week has involved visits to John Lewis (Edinburgh one), Next Home, ToysRUs/BabiesRUs (Livingston) and Mothercare (Livingston).

I'm only ttc atm so I have to browse out of town so as not to get caught by nosy onlookers guessing!!

Still, it's been great being able to see things and have a play with them, helping me get an idea what I would want and how much to budget for, hopefully for 2012 baby!

I would say probably a good bet would be the big ToysRUs at Fort Kinnaird or possibly other retail parks like The Fort Glasgow etc. There is actually a big new baby shop opened in Falkirk, but can't go there yet as it's my town :p

not really got much here in glasgow apart from glasgow pram centre toysrus they also have bigger mothercare in eastkilbride along with jan stewart but its no were near as big as kiddicare x

We do seem a bit lacking up here in places apart from toys r us and mothercare!

Got my fingers crossed for you Leesey!

*Note to self* Scotland needs large dedicated baby store. Anyone fancy going into business looool.

Sarah, I don't know Dundee well, but we holiday near there and there is a babies r us bit at the toys r us at the retail park nearish camperdown. It has cots and stuff on display.

xxx

Thanks, I live round corner from there but still very limited so is mothercare, was hoping there might be some big shop somewhere I didn't know about!
