i recently got a laptop that has a built in web cam
i can work my web cam wen on msn
but i was wondering how do i take still pictures so i can upload them onto here?

LOL not really, HP is the Make so thats ok but Vista Basic is the o/s (operating System) so what runs the computer (like the old Windows XP, vista is the new version) model number should be on it somewhere - my HP had it at the top of the keyboard and was something like 5200 or something....

I'd think when you launch and run it somewhere in the webcam window will be an Options menu of some sort etc. You might find the options in there and be able to take pics, save them to file and then upload them.

Seems to me to be the most normal way to expect (hope) it would work.
