knitting blanket

I do.... have just finished a lil blanket for the arrival of baby Zak in July...nothing fancy but I think it's cute

I got loads of pinky purpley wool when my Gran died, and had just started knitting crocheting. So I'm making 'granny' squares with them to make into a blanket. It's supposed to be for Sophia, but it's looking really nice I might keep it for myself, lol!!

I'd love to knit a blanket for my baby! I used to knit a little bit but I have totally forgotten how to do it now, any tips for a starter?

What's the easiest thing to start with? I really want to make a little hat
