This might sound like a silly question but when you do your kick chart do you literally just count the kicks or when they move as well?

Hi I don't have one of these but I think you are supposed to record movement as well

I only started today and have been counting movement and kicks started it at 9am and have my 10 kicks already.

I've been purely counting kicks on mine. I had my 32 week check on Tuesday and she said ANY form of movement a little rolling over feeling a leg/arm poking my tummy up and down type thing counted so basically they want to know you have felt 10 MOVEMENTS rather than 10 KICKS. I wish in that respect they called it a "Movement Chart" and not a "Kick Chart". Either way LO always does his 10 by the time I'm showered and dressed in the morning....such a little wiggle this one!!

I started my kick chart today and it started at 9. It's now 9:15 and i've already had my 10 kicks

I think you can count any movement. My midwife said that even at times when the baby is going crazy, you know, like when you tummy ripples around. Then each movement during that period can be counted as a separate one.

Did you use the kick chart I recommended or do you have a different one?

I used the one you gave me. I've been up since 7 and the baby has been moving about loads since then and I got my 10 movements practically straight away when the chart started at 9 so that's handy :D
