I think im answering my own question here but would you say that they are in the same category as a mcds mcflurry and milkshake-pregnant women should steer clear? !? Xx

You can eat them- those machines are cleaned god knows how
Many times a day and they use pasturised milk powder - probably more germs on the handles going in that the machine

Have you ever heard of someone gettingn listeria from a soft nice cream machine in the likes of mcdonalds/KFC?

I've eaten soft ice cream, runny eggs etc and I'm ok - so is baby

Hi girls
It was a comment iv heard from numerous folk about the risk of listeria from the machine. Thanks for the nhs link that def gives you something to think about. Iv wanted a mcds milkshake since I fell pregnant and not. And im nearly 19 weeks! Going for a krushem tonight as my throat is like glass.

There's your risk of getting listeria- which includes getting it from pâté and everything else associated - not an ice cream machine?

oh theres all kinds of things they say to eat or drink with caution but big chains clean their machines loads... i wouldnt worry. ive had loads of mcflurrys and milkshakes and stuff... im fine. ive had runny eggs too.

dont punish yourself eat them! theyre nom!
