What age did your LO start teething?

Jake is 8 weeks old and has been extremely narky today. I obviously checked he wasnt hungry, nappy, temp, boredom etc... the only time he wasnt crying this afternoon is when hes been asleep. His cry is different from when he is fighting sleep if you know what i mean? His gums dont seem red or anything.

emma has been teethings (symptoms) since she was 3 months old but she is nearly 11 months now and still no teeth but the symptoms keep getting worse

Nathans been showing signs of teething for about 3 months at least and he only got his 1st tooth yesterday.

millies had the drooling, biting her fists and red cheeks for about 2 weeks now (no teeth yet tho obviously), the biting is getting stronger now, she seems really frustrated, poor lamb. iv tried teethers that u put in the fridge, they seem 2 help. x

George has been having the same thing TangerineDream. Not every day but now and again he'll have a really tetchy time. He was like it for about 3 days in a row then the next day he had a massive sleeping day. Woke for a feed at 4.30am then again at 8.30 then slept till 12.30! Perhaps it's a little growth spurt and he's extra hungry. I've upped George's formula now and he seems a bit more content (well at least he WAS until today when he had his jabs! :( )

That did occur to me but Jake has just had a growth spurt about 10 days ago... surely he cant have another? Im just very aware of the amount I feed him, he is already on 7 oz every 2.5-4 hours!! He weighs about 14lb but he isnt chubby at all, he is quite long and thin

The doctor confirmed Austin was teething when we went for his 8 week check. He got his first tooth at 22 weeks and has 4 now (25 weeks).

He might just be a very hungry baby Natalie. You could try the hungrier baby formula if he continues to demand more. George is on 7oz at bed and breakfast time with 6oz the rest of the time. He's also long and not chubby at all.
