I think i had my first ever taste of a braxton hick contraction today, but then again it could of been trapped wind (Sorry, tmi lol).

Well, i decided to walk with OH to the doctors a couple of blocks away for Mother in law's tablets, and then we did a bit of food shopping afterwards..Anyway i felt fine for a few minutes and then BAM!..Massive stomach ache that lasted ages and had me breathing like an idiot!, if that was only a braxton hick or whatever then i dont even want to know what labours going to be like lol!.

And i feel ashamed for doing this in the middle of the supermarket but I had a little bit of a fart and it eased it a little!..Maybe it was trapped wind after all that!, but either way my god it hurt!

Anyone elses wind hurt them to that extent thesedays?

Yes!!! I get awful tummy ache if i've got wind! I guess it's because everything's all crushed up. The joys!!! :)

sounds like trapped wind to me. i get the worst trapped wind pains ever!!! it usually starts in my tummy and sometimes goes round to my back. so annoying! ive heard everyones braxton hicks is different but mine arent like a stabbing ache in the tummy. its more just uncomfortable than sore. just feels really tight and hard. x

Yup and I normally let it go just as OH walks in the room lol, not intentionally :)

My belly has had it's moments where it has gone ridiculously tight and now I know where baby is lying to I know it's been braxton hicks, but it hasn;t really hurt, I heard they are not meant to but that could be a lie......

xxx

Trapped wind seems so much more painful now i'm pregnant than it did before hand, i usually get it in my tummy and in my back and chest, i was doubled over last night with it until i had the most amazing burp  it was like i had downed a full can of extra fizzy pop  but it eased loads after that! xx
