Everything was great!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I was up worrying last night, I was convinced I had GD and that the baby would be far too big. But baby is great, just a few days ahead of average size. He/she was very cute during the scan and kept hiding their face.
Baby is also in the right position!!! :cheer: :cheer: Just hope he stays that way!!!
All the things I was worried about - GD, high blood pressure etc came back normal! I am very pleased about that.
I told them that the iron tablets didn't seem to be helping my palpitations and dizziness. I was really impressed, they took me seriously and did not fob me off. They sent me for an ECG today and I have an appointment with the Obstretic Cardiologist. I am really pleased because I am sure everything is ok and the palps are a normal side effect of anaemia and pregnancy, but having an expert tell me will really help my anxiety about it.
all in all, a good visit!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Sounds like you have a good care service!!

Glad all went well with the scan!

hi hun

Sounds good. Pleased to hear it all went well.

With regards to your palpitations and so on. I've been seeing a cardiologist since about 18 weeks for them and also for my heart murmur and other things. I have had ECG's done and also an echocardiogram on my heart.

They told me that everything was within normal parameters for my pregnancy and that up to 3 palpitations a minute was acceptable. Considering mine vary from very minor blips to full on everything stalls for 5 seconds or so, its sometimes a bit weird to work out how many I may be having inside of a minute but I've done ok so far. I'm sure you'll be fine and it'll all fall within a decent range for your pregnancy :)
