We are decided on our name, I love it and dont want to change it.
Greyson Ward Smith.

His first name will shortened to Grey, which would obviously be Grey Ward Smith.
Ive just thought- 'Grey Ward' rhymes with gaylord  kids are so cruel and I dont want him to get picked on, do you think kids would make that connection?
I dont imagine he'll ever use his middle name unless he is using his full first name too so I might be worried about nothing? ?

Am I being silly?

Hmmm children are truly evil, but I'm not sure whether they'd be savvy enough to make that link. However it does only take one. You'll just have to make sure grey is totally cool and then there'll be no issues cos that kind of thing happens when they're looking for stuff to pick on x

I don't know half of my friends middle names, they aren't really publicised are they?
I wouldn't worry :)

I think when he goes to school im going to leave his middle name off the forms so other kids dont fet the chance! Lol I really love his name and dont want to change it. He's already my little baby grey! Ward is deans grandfather's name that passed away before he was born and I think its a lovely sentiment.

I have to remind my son of his own middle names, I doubt anyone at school knows them, lol.

i was horribly bullied at school and i dont have a name that rhymes with anything. kids are horrible to eachother and it doesnt matter if they have a name that you could play with or not.

i got bullied for wearing dark green tights, for having pink salami in my sandwiches, for having a white car... seriously... name doesnt play into it with kids. their name isnt likely to cause them to get bullied.

if you love the name then keep it. they probebly wont catch on anyway

I dont think it will be an issue hun x

If they are going to bully they will anyway

Kids will probs pick on him as his name would be the same as the colour grey... But like jojo said kids will bully regardless - it's not the names that are the problem these days- and it all have changed by the time he gets to school too

It will be bullying because he doesn't have the newest phone, tablet, coolest trainers, trendiest haircut or something stupid

I think that's a bit too contrived to be worrying about. If kids want to bully they'll find a way regardless of the name.

Also middle names only tend to get used when they're in trouble, or on more formal occasions and you're using the full name anyway, so it would be Greyson Ward, not Grey Ward.

(though I've turned down a few beautiful spanish names that my husband has suggested for exactly this reason, but in my case it really was handing the bullies ammo on a platter... for example "alaia", I just couldn't justify calling my child a liar)

Lol camfi
I like alaya but loads cant pronounce it at all x
